Jordan Baur

Bio

Jordan Baur has been part of Union for 10 years, including four seasons coaching football and a decade coaching wrestling. He currently works with the C Team defensive line and brings a relationship-first approach to coaching. A Jacksonville, Florida native and Ridgefield High School graduate, Jordan played on the offensive and defensive line before moving to tight end his senior year.

For Jordan, coaching is about helping athletes become better people, not just better players. He wants every athlete he coaches to know they matter, and while his style can be blunt and demanding, it comes from believing in their potential and genuinely caring about who they become. He values players who are coachable, work hard, believe in themselves and their teammates, and still know how to enjoy the game.

Family is especially meaningful to Jordan. He was adopted and recently learned he has seven siblings, an experience that has reinforced his belief that family is not always defined by blood. That same mindset carries into how he views his teams and the relationships he builds with athletes and their families.

Away from football, Jordan enjoys cooking and playing Assassin’s Creed or College Football. On game day, his routine is simple: turn on some Soulja Boy, loosen up, and get ready to go.
