Kevin Hornsby

Bio

Coach Kevin Hornsby is entering his second year with Union Football, bringing nearly a decade of experience coaching youth football and 7v7, along with more than 20 years of coaching soccer and basketball. His experience across multiple sports has helped shape a versatile, athlete-centered approach to coaching and development.

Kevin also coaches an academy soccer team with Columbia Premier, where he continues to work with young athletes as they develop their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game. His own love for soccer began at an early age, earning a varsity role as a freshman in high school and laying the foundation for what would become a long coaching career.

Kevin and his wife, Stefanie, an elementary special education teacher in the Evergreen School District, met in high school and have been married for 19 years. They have three children: Jaden, a Union High School alumnus who was a varsity sophomore on the Titans’ 2018 State Championship football team; Jackson, a sophomore at Union High School whom Kevin is excited to share the football experience with; and Jordynn, an eighth grader at Pacific Middle School who plays for Columbia Premier Soccer Academy and has been coached by Kevin since she was five.

Kevin is excited to continue contributing to the Union Titan Football program and helping athletes grow through discipline, teamwork, confidence, and a love for competition. He values the opportunity to mentor young athletes and be part of their development both on and off the field.
