Tonya Erickson

Bio

Tonya Erickson is in her second year with Union as the Director of Football Operations and brings four years of coaching experience across CCYF, Union Football, and Union Wrestling. A Spokane native, Tonya earned both her undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems and an MBA from Western Washington University. She also spent two years playing tackle football in the WNFC with the Oregon Ravens.

What Tonya enjoys most about coaching is getting to know the athletes and watching their confidence, skills, and strength grow over time. She wants players to know that football should be fun and that there’s a place for everyone on the team. She especially values athletes who are coachable and willing to learn.

Outside of football, Tonya enjoys CrossFit, Olympic lifting, powerlifting, growing tomatoes, and traveling. She’s also a mom of four and a grandma to Foster.

On game day, Tonya has a signature look: her longest eyelashes and ice-blue contacts.
